Go for a romantic hunting cruise in the houseboats of Kashmir and spend the night either in a boat or a hotel. See one of the most beautiful sunrises in the world over the Dal Lake. Get a whiff of the saffron fields on the way to the beautiful Pahalgam and the ancient temple of Mattan. Visit the ruins of Avantipura and then spend some time by the calm Lidder River.
Now sit back and be ready to be enthralled by the sight of the snow clad mountains of Gulmarg. Slide up to heights on the ropeway and to the top of the magnificent Afarwat mountain that stands at 4,373 meters.
Srinagar is the last destination of the tour; there you will walk through the gardens of Mughal, Nishat and Shalimar. End your tour with the holy shrine of Shankaracharya temple which is on a hill and has stunning views.

Tour Plan
Meet our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel where a welcome drink awaits. Settle and freshen up and stroll towards the Mughal Gardens, The Royal Spring (Chashm-e-Shahi), Nishat Garden (The Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (abode of love) quiet and romantic Shikara Ride for an hour. Return to your Houseboat for dinner.
Drive to Pahalgam after breakfast, passing by the historic Awantipura Ruins and the saffron fields of Pampore. Savor the picturesque vistas of the pine forests and rural areas. Once you arrive, take in the splendor of Pahalgam, also called "The Valley of Shepherds," and then spend the night at the hotel.
En Route Sightseeing:
- Awantipura Ruins: Visit temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.
- Saffron Fields: View saffron cultivation in Pampore.
- Martand Sun Temple: Detour to this ancient temple dedicated to the Sun God.
Pahalgam Sightseeing (4-5 hours):
- Betaab Valley: A picturesque valley named after the Bollywood movie.
- Aru Valley: Known for meadows, rivers, and stunning landscapes.
- Chandanwari: Starting point for the Amarnath Yatra with snow-clad mountains.
- Lidder Valley: Enjoy views of lush meadows, forests, and river activities.
After breakfast proceed to Gulmarg which is just 4 hrs away. Check in to your hotel and freshen yourself. Later proceed to local sightseeing which includes Gondola, the Asia’s highest and longest cable car project is the main attraction. There is ample time to ride both the stages on your own. Many try skiing on their own though coaches are available on hire. You can use the ski-lift for skiing/snowboarding from hill tops. Gulmarg also boasts of the highest Golf Course in the world with 18 holes. Retire for the night at the hotel.
Drive to Srinagar after breakfast to see the well-known, Shankaracharya Temple or Hazratbal Mosque, visit a nearby handicrafts showroom to view jewelry, shawls, and carpets made of hand-knotted silk. Overnight return to Srinagar stay at hotel.
After breakfast drive to full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. Overnight return to Srinagar stay at hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for departure to next destination.

My trip was a bonding trip as we went with our whole family to heaven on Earth, Kashmir. At first, I was a little confused about whether the Kashmirhills team will be able to manage a good trip for us as we are a family of 13 people. But to my surprise they did an amazing job, everything was well managed from cars for sightseeing to rooms in hotel. we all had agreat time exploring the beautiful Kashmir. There was a leisurely boat ride with an amazing view where we got an opportunity to row our own Shikara Boat. Kashmirhills also planned a day where we could shop our hearts out. We had a very good time in Kashmir. The driver, Irshad Bhai, was very cooperative and used to guide us well. One thing we were disappointed with is that one local photographer planned to loot us. He was coming behind us in a pony ride even after trying to avoid him; this is why we decided not to take photos with him anymore. The ground operator Aris called us at regular intervals to know how our trip was going and he even asked if we needed anything else. It’s nice dealing with Kashmir Hills Tours because of their honesty and concern for the customer’s needs.
