Gurudwara Shri Chatti Patshahi Sahib is counted as one of the most renowned Sikh pilgrimage site in Jammu and Kashmir especially in Rajouri district where it is situated. The religious site is devoted to sixth Sikh Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. According to popular belief, in 1616 Guru Hargobind Singh Ji stayed at this site on his way to meet Mughal Emperor Jahangir. In 1960, an engineer name Tara Singh had redesigned the site in order to facilitated adequate accommodation facility to the devotee. A school is also situated within the premises of the Gurudwara. Huge numbers of devotees from northern India throng the site on every Sunday and on the day when the shrine celebrates birthday of the Guru.
